Circle of Influence

Our paths often cross with specific people frequently throughout the week (and it continues every week) that God has intentionally set up that we may build a relationship with them and share the Gospel with them! Some people go out of their way to make their path cross frequently with someone God has placed on their heart. Basically, there are people all around us that need Jesus and these are our circles of influence. So, this week, I'd love for us to pray together for some of the people in our circles of influence.

  • Rachel let us know a couple of weeks ago that her and her husband go out every Wednesday to share with the people in an apartment complex. Feel free to update or add, Rachel!
  • I play basketball a couple days a week with a bunch of high school kids (mostly guys, except for 2 girls that come occasionally) in the neighborhood, and I am really struggling with knowing how to connect with them. Some of them are believers in need of encouragement and challenge to live boldly for Christ among their friends. Others, don't have a personal relationship with Him. I just need some discernment for recognizing opportunities the Holy Spirit may present, and then willingness to open my mouth with confidence in Christ when He leads.

Spend some serious and focused time of intercession for the lost people who are all around you. Pray for those in your life and also some of the other requests on here, if you can. Please share about someone in your life, who you have shared with or feel like you're supposed to share with. Let us pray with you for you and that person or group of people. The way you live your life is often a huge witness, but we also need to speak truth as well...not forcefully, but as the Holy Spirit leads. He does all the work, we're just the vessels. It's nice to have a little battalion of warriors fighting with you though, so that's why I'm asking you to share your requests with us!

Don't forget to put on the Armor every day, but especially when intentionally going into battle! You'll find it in Ephesians 6

This is Rachel again. Just an update! One of the ladies we visited this summer who came to know the Lord got baptised this past Sunday! A lady we met during a visit came to Sunday School with us for the first time. Through visits from another group a couple came to know the Lord and joined the church. Many exciting things are happening around our community. Continue to lift up those we meet when we go door to door. Lift up the Cherry Hills Apartments here in Fort Worth, that is our target for the next few months!
    Thanks and God Bless
